Second, the giveaway that he is not trying to insult anyone is that the pronoun he uses for the people who risk becoming “listless vessels” is “we,” not “they” — he’s making a broad point about the conservative movement.

Third, forgive me for not getting exercised by “listless vessels” when Trump spews more barbed phrases on Truth Social practically every hour.
