Axios Explains That Joe Biden Screaming at His Staff Is a Sign of Respect

Axios lets us know that away from the television cameras, President Biden regularly unleashes profanity-laced tirades against his staff.

In public, President Biden likes to whisper to make a point. In private, he’s prone to yelling.

Behind closed doors, Biden has such a quick-trigger temper that some aides try to avoid meeting alone with him. Some take a colleague, almost as a shield against a solo blast.

The president’s admonitions include: “God dammit, how the f**k don’t you know this?!,” “Don’t f**king bullsh*t me!” and “Get the f**k out of here!” — according to current and former Biden aides who have witnessed and been on the receiving end of such outbursts.

In a completely unrelated matter, home-care specialists for the elderly explain that “cognitive decline can cause aging adults to have sudden outbursts of anger. Symptoms of cognitive decline include memory loss and difficulty understanding basic information. Your loved one might become upset if he or she can’t recall a particular word or remember the name of a familiar place. Your loved one’s anger could also be a sign of dementia, and it’s essential to have him or her evaluated by a physician if you notice serious signs of cognitive decline.”

The story of Biden’s outbursts gets just about the most sympathetic, soft-focus, and gentle tone imaginable from Axios — “Being yelled at by the president has become an internal initiation ceremony in this White House, aides say — if Biden doesn’t yell at you, it could be a sign he doesn’t respect you.” Screaming at the staff is a sign of respect, you see. Axios does acknowledge the screaming confrontations contradict Biden’s “carefully cultivated image as a kindly uncle who loves Aviator sunglasses and ice cream.”

As usual, if you are a member of the party that the media institution prefers, your flaws are covered in the most sympathetic light. Rahm Emanuel once mailed a decomposing two-and-a-half-foot fish to a pollster and gleefully stabbed a table with a steak knife, while declaring his political enemies to be dead.

Suddenly Emanuel grabbed his steak knife and, as those who were there remember it, shouted out the name of another enemy, lifted the knife, then brought it down with full force into the table.

”Dead!” he screamed.

The group immediately joined in the cathartic release: ”Nat Landow! Dead! Cliff Jackson! Dead! Bill Schaefer! Dead!”

With such a record for even-tempered, conciliatory and gracious instincts, it is no wonder that Rahm Emanuel is now a diplomat for the Biden administration.

If Emanuel were then a Republican campaign strategist, he would have been widely considered a raging maniac and a rageaholic, perhaps even dangerously unhinged. Because Emanuel was a Democrat, he was treated as just a wacky, fired-up fierce competitor.

Thus, screaming, swearing Joe Biden is just showing respect to his staffers.
