Mark and Lisa are right. Obama hasn’t been able to grow his base – the black vote and upscale white liberals – since this thing began. I disagree slightly with Lisa about Hillary’s “transformation”. Her ”strength”, insofar as one can call it that, seems mostly a function of his weakness. He’s got the media, he’s got the money, but he can’t translate it to widespread appeal.
(Oh, and with hindsight, I too now believe that Chelsea has “the ass of life“.)
