Barrasso: Obamacare Being Put Together ‘with Chicken Wire and Duct Tape’ to Make Deadline

In light of the latest Obamacare delays, Senator John Barrasso said the administration is scrambling to piece together the faulty parts in time to meet the upcoming October deadline.

“The White House is truly frantic, they’re panicked, they’re trying to put this together with chicken wire and duct tape just to make it fly on October 1,” the Wyoming Republican said on Fox News last night.

Yesterday, the Department of Health and Human Service informed insurance companies that it would push back signing off on insurance plans set for the federal-insurance exchanges. Earlier this summer, the Obama administration announced that the employer mandate would be delayed until 2014.
