So, Charles C.W. Cooke — colleague, essayist, and author of the acclaimed book The Conservatarian Manifesto — will be heading to Texas and North Carolina in the next two weeks to discuss his fusion strategy for conservatism and libertarianism. Two (maybe even three!) great National Review Institute co-sponsored events are in store.
Charlie will be in Austin on Friday, May 15th, for a breakfast talk at the headquarters of the Texas Public Policy Foundation (he’ll sign your copy of his book, or you can purchase one there if you’ve yet to do so) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Did I mention the food’s free?!
To get more information or to RSVP, click here or contact TPPF’s Shannon Tracy at email@example.com or 512-472-2700. And please mention that you were invited by NR (by the way, you can find out about NRI’s many Regional Partnership Events here).
Then on Monday, May 18th, Charlie will be headlining a Shaftesbury Society luncheon in Raleigh, North Carolina, hosted by the John Locke Foundation. Details and reservations can be found/made here, or contact JLF’s Donna Martinez at firstname.lastname@example.org or (919) 828-3876.
Can’t make it for the lunch? Contact NRI’s Katie Poedtke at email@example.com for information about a second opportunity to meet Charlie that evening (just for friends of National Review, the John Locke Foundation, and the Federalist Society).
Monday nights in Raleigh will never be the same!
