And the Ebenezer Goes To . . .

The Becket Fund gives out its “Ebenezer Award” each year for “the most ridiculous affront to the Christmas and Hanukah season.” This year’s winner is (drumroll) the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Science. It won for a letter admonishing students to make sure that any holiday celebrations they might have are “inclusive.” No Christmas trees, Menorahs, red, green, silver, blue, lest anyone feel not-included. That’s one of the tenets of “progressivism” — no one should ever feel excluded. Trying to enforce that keeps lots of academic minions busy.
