Benghazi Security Contractor to Hillary: ‘It Makes a Huge Difference.’

Last night on her program on Fox News, Megyn Kelly interviewed Mark Geist, Chris Poronto and Don Tigen, three of the five security contractors who co-wrote the the book 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi. The book is now the basis for a new film; Kelly asked the men about the claim the attack was based upon a YouTube video.

KELLY: Last subject. You come back, it was all about a video. We heard the family say it, that Hillary Clinton, according to the family members, looked at them, at Dover Air Force Base when the bodies came back and said, ‘we’re going to get the guy that made that video.’ Now when asked who is lying, you or the families, she says, ‘it’s not me.’ Of course, she’s talking about Glenn’s family, she’s talking about Tyrone’s family and Shawn’s family.

PARONTO: And I know Pat Smith, I know Katie Quigley, Glenn’s sister. We know Ty’s mom. We know what they told us was said, and I know them very well. And Katie has been on news quite a bit telling you what she was told. I know that they were told it was a video, because that’s what they told me and I believe Pat and Katie. I believe Charles Woods.

GEIST: Who would have a reason to lie? Why? They have no reason to tell anything but the truth.

KELLY: When you saw the testimony of Hillary Clinton, she testified twice, and the first time she made big headlines when — well, we have the clip. This is what she said.

HILLARY CLINTON CLIP: The fact is, we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out for a walk that decided to kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?

KELLY: What’s your response to her?

PARONTO: It makes a huge difference, and that’s — this is what i was talking about with the politics of it. They’re politicking of and just getting it down to where it turns into a reality show, where the truth is not being told. That’s one of the reasons that pushed us to stay apolitical but tell the truth of what happened on the ground, because it does matter. It matters to honor our friends that passed away.Wwe need to honor Ambassador Stevens and the families that need to know the truth of what took place there, because they didn’t know.
