Regarding John’s post below, rarely does a party’s leadership put it all on the line on the House floor without having its votes locked down, but that’s what might happen later today.
Obvious point — this is very tricky:
In sum: House Democratic leaders are plowing ahead to a vote on the infrastructure bill even as Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin are not endorsing a Biden-backed framework that sharply cuts Build Back Better to meet their demands.
This is, to put it mildly, a tenuous situation.

Pelosi has a left and a right problem:
Pelosi doesn't have just a left or right problem, progressives are complaining about lack of final deal w/ Manchin and Sinema and legislative text and still talking about drug prices; moderates are making last-minute demands on SALT. Common theme is that it just seems not ready.
