The Corner

Bill Bennett Can Rest Easily This Weekend

An e-mail, and an Eliot success story after yesterday’s Frum-inspired, passionate Brookhiser-Bennett-Charen-etc. exchange:

I always find something edifying in reading the Corner, and yesterday it convinced me to save Middlemarch from my “Give To Little Sister” pile of reading. I have tried for years to even start that book, but have been defeated at every turn. For an English major, this was highly embarrassing. But now I am fortified to try again. Thanks, as always, for all you do–the Hillary commercials still go strong in Ohio and I need Corner sanity.
