For weeks, people have been circulating a photo of President Bush waving as he walked out to Marine One with a caption of “Miss me yet?” Yes, of course many of us do. I missed him at noon on Jan. 20, 2009, but that won’t come as a surprise to anyone. For a couple of years it’s been fashionable for some to trash President Bush, to say they knew all along the presidency would falter. Charles Krauthammer told me to take heart last year — he said that at the end of one year people would rack up the decision and that “my guy would come out looking just fine.” He was right — and I am glad to be somewhat back in fashion.
