Blast from the Past: Hillary and Nancy on the Medicare Part D Rollout

Mark Hemingway sends me these priceless videos showcasing Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton’s rants about the rollout of Medicare Part D. Enjoy the rhetoric about how the implementation and the law itself are embarrassments (“absolute” embarrassements even!) and how Democrats want to replace it. Also, note the comments about the high compliance cost to doctors.

You would think they were talking about the Obamacare rollout. I am no fan of Medicare Part D, but it does have one advantage over Obamacare: It ran no risk of an insurance death spiral.
