Bleg: French Ear Wanted

Some months ago on this site I blogged about a song that has been haunting me for 36 years, but which I had been unable to find anywhere, even in sheet music form.  With the kind help of NRO readers, I tracked down an old 45rpm vinyl of the song.  I have digitized the recording and put it on my website here.  It is as superbly beautiful as I remembered, though that may be just the nostalgia talking.

The song is in French.  I’d like to post the lyrics on that web page, but my ear for the language is lousy, and I can only get about 75 percent of the words.  If anyone with a better ear for French would please jot down the lyrics and send them to me (my e-address is encrypted on my home page) I would be infinitely grateful.
