Bleg–Webcam

I’m in the market for a webcam.  The only one currently in the Derb household is a Logitech QuickCam Pro that I bought Rosie for Christmas.  We’re not very happy with it, though.  Can anyone offer testimonials for a really good webcam?

My local Best Buy has:   —Creative Labs Webcam Live! Ultra at $100.99   —Dynex Webcam DX-WC101 at $42.99   …and the Logitech.  The Logitech works OK, we just found it hard to figure out, plus it kept asking us to sign up for various web features we didn’t want (and in one case, signing us up anyway — we probably clicked a wrong button somewhere… but that’s what I mean).  If the Logitech is the best around, I’ll buy another one… but I’d like something better.  And I’m by no means committed to Best Buy, if there’s a better product out there.   All suggestions gratefully recieved.  My email address is encoded on the main page of my personal website . The Biden Protection Racket

Never before have the ... Read More

A Few Cracks in the Progressive Wall

The contemporary progressive agenda — of, say, an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, or Elizabeth Warren — has rarely appealed to 51 percent of the American electorate. Most polls show opposition to Court packing and the abolition of the Electoral College. Voters don’t seem to like ... Read More
