House speaker John Boehner isn’t going to consider GOP legislation to fix the border crisis unless it comes out of the working group he assembled to address the problem, comments he made at his weekly press conference suggest.
“I’m focused on the recommendations of our border control working group, and we’re operating within those guidelines,” he said. Boehner’s comments likely mean he will not consider Senator Ted Cruz’s effort to stop President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
