House Republicans may force the House to stay in session until they get enough votes to pass the border package.
“We’ll stay until we vote,” House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa (R., Calif.) told reporters staking out a special GOP conference meeting.
A House GOP leadership aide said the decision hadn’t been made yet.
Another House Republican told National Review Online, 45 minutes into the afternoon meeting, that there was “no sign anyone has changed so far.”
