In a press conference moments ago, House Speaker John Boehner said that there has been no progress in negotiations to prevent the country from going over the fiscal cliff. “The White House has wasted another week,” Boehner said, noting that the White House has produced no counteroffer to the proposal the GOP submitted on Tuesday. “The president has adopted a strategy to slow walk our economy right off the fiscal cliff,” he said.
