Boehner to Speak on Jobs Sept 15

House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) will deliver his own jobs speech at the Economic Club of Washington on Sept. 15, one week after President Obama plans to address a joint session of Congress on the issue.

House Majority Eric Cantor (R., Va.) outlined the upcoming GOP jobs agenda in a memo earlier this week. A key element of the Republican plan will be to head off or repeal a number of job-destroying regulations proposed by the administration.
