One of the worst Democratic arguments is that sending Bolton to the UN on a recess appointment will harm the standing of the U.S. OK, that’s a very avoidable problem–give the man an up-or-down vote! He has enough votes to pass, if Democrats would stop filibustering him. I guess Democrats are implicitly saying that their filibuster is harmful to the national interest.
