It’s Friday. You’re tired. But then you get this. And many like them. Makes it worthwhile:
I’ve been reading NR since the 1960’s and have been a faithful reader of NRO
since its inception. You and your colleagues have helped me immeasurably
through the trials of recent years. I work just a few blocks from the World
Trade Center site, and saw unbelievable carnage that day. Both before and
since, I’ve started most days and ended most evenings reading the
contributions on the website as I try to sort out where we are and what we
should do.
Please accept my modest donation with my personal thanks for your great
work. I really do feel like you are part of an extended family, and as such
you are in my thoughts (and prayers) every day.
