Border Math

Let’s see:  6,000 National Guardsmen on the southern border, which is 1,952 miles long.  Supposing the Guardsmen work 8-hour shifts, there will be 2,000 of them on duty at any one time.  If I divide 1,952 miles by 2,000 I get 0.976 miles, which is a tad short of 1,718 yards… per Guardsman.  Lotsa luck, guys.
