Brady ’n’ Rodgers ’n’ Them

If you’re in the mood for a sportscast, I’ve got one for you: here. My guests, my gurus, are David French and Vivek Dave. If they don’t know it — it’s not known. Our agenda is straightforward: college football, the NFL, college basketball, and the NBA. How do things stand, in all of those spheres?

We talk about the college football playoffs and Urban Meyer — the latest retirement of. We also debate the number of teams in the playoffs: Should it be eight? David says yes, Vivek says no way. In our discussion of the NFL, we touch on three quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick. Is Rodgers hampered by a poor team or is he himself fading? Is it sunset time for Brady? Is Kaepernick being blackballed?

College hoops are nodded to — neither guest can work up too much enthusiasm for them, at least until March — and then we get to the NBA: Is there trouble in the paradise of the Golden State dynasty? Is that town not big enough for both KD and Draymond? How about LeBron? He has found his stride in L.A.?

In this ’cast, you will hear not only razor-sharp sports acumen but two delightful people. Again, here.
