The British Establishment Is the Real Suicide Bomb

As a footnote to my post below, the New York Times reports:

Britain’s government apologized Thursday for endorsing a lesson plan which asked students to think like suicide bombers.

Well, let’s see: alumni from Yorkshire, Midlands, and Home Counties schoolhouses have been captured in Afghanistan, four self-detonated on the London Tube, and many more have been charged in cases such as the Heathrow bombing conspiracy. As with Joycelyn Elders’s plan to teach American pupils the joys of masturbating, this would seem to be one of those rare areas of scholarship Brit moppets can be relied on to pick up for themselves.
