Broken Promise

Yesterday I promised that I wouldn’t post anything more about my talk today at the Heritage Foundation about my new book, Our Oldest Enemy: A History of America’s Disastrous Relationship with France. Well, that was certainly my intention at the time. My pledge was true when it was made. But sometimes things change and, in this case, new information becomes available. I’m told, for instance, that if you can’t attend the event in person, you can watch it live at noon here. I also gather that a video of my remarks will be archived on the Heritage website. More on that another time–I promise!
