Spoiler warning.
Okay, so we need to get back important things. First, rumors are swirling that Starbuck will be killed-off. I know nothing but what I hear via email, but apparently it has to do with the fact that Katie Sackoff finished her shooting a lot earlier than everyone else.
Well, Sunday’s show leads me to think that Starbuck is a Cylon (or at least we’re supposed to suspect her). She’s had the vision of the eye of Jupiter since she was a kid. Lucy Lawless — oh how I will miss Xena — clearly recognized the face of one of the final five and apologized as if she’d wronged him/her in the past. This would explain why Starbuck is leaving, either permanently or temporarily (maybe she’ll just think she’s a Cylon and go off on a vision quest of some kind).
More interestingly, I think the development of the final five storyline might allow the writers to salvage “the Cylons have a plan” theme which so far appears impossible (unless they planned to change their minds about destroying humanity and believing in God). Perhaps the final five are the ones with the plan, and the Cylons we know are just a bunch of chumps.
Also, I am very excited that Baltar has been captured. I only hope nobody sneaks a camera-cell-phone into the room when they hang him.
Oh, and yes, I’ve heard about Tricia Helfer appearing in the latest Playboy. No I haven’t seen it yet. I’m waiting to find out if there are any informative and worthwhile articles that would justify my purchase!
