I almost forgot to point out my sci-fi reference in my piece yesterday on The Bituminous Coal Queens of Pennsylvania (which is really a wonderful look at American life. The crunchies might like it, too, even if folks in it make their living from coal…which I think the crunchies may actually benefit from). Anyway, it’s a small world–the star of BCQ, Sarah Rush, is the former “launch-when-ready” girl from BSG.
BCQ comes from the FourBoys production company, which is Patricia Heaton (formerly of Everybody Loves Raymond) and her husband David Hunt. Their next project is a film on William Wilberforce, in collaboration with some other folks who do good things in Hollywood, Walden Media.
