Buckley Retrospective

Michael M. Uhlmann has a wonderful essay on our fearless leader—”The Right Stuff: William F. Buckley Jr. and the American Conservative Movement”—in the Summer 2005 issue of The Claremont Review of Books. It’s a great mag—edited by Charles Kesler and crammed, as usual, with great writers (the new issue has VDH, Bill Rusher, Kenneth Minogue, former NRer Sarah Bramwell, and many more).

Jack Fowler is a contributing editor at National Review and a senior philanthropy consultant at American Philanthropic.
