This is extraordinary given how Trump is deliberately provocative and Bush is consistently irenic. Among independents, Bush is upside down by 2-1 (30-62) and he’s upside down among both tea-party supporters (37-51) and tea-party opponents (23-73). The bright spot is among Republicans — 61 percent regard him favorably, 31 percent unfavorably.
