Calderón Heads to Cambridge

Felipe Calderón, the president of Mexico, will speak at Harvard today, to give the commencement address at the John F. Kennedy School of Government:

The Mexican President will tell an audience of 550 students from the Class of 2010, their relatives and guests of the importance of maintaining a sense of commitment to public service and of basing government actions on key values such as democracy, human rights and equal development. After the event, he will meet with 14 Mexican students who are completing their studies at this prestigious institution. Dean of the Kennedy School, Dr. David T. Ellwood invited President Calderón to give this traditional address because he is an outstanding graduate of this school.
