Before the ACLU calls, take note:
Ms. Lopez,
I read the article you linked to from the Milford Daily News and noticed it was
not the ACLU that requested the city to not plow church parking lots. It was a
citizen who complained. The ACLU is only listed in the very last sentence of
the article and only to mention that the letter had been shared with them.
Yet, you headline your post “Merry Christmas From the ACLU.” The headline and
your selective quotation of the story would lead readers to think that it was
the ACLU who forced the city to stop the plowing. This is simply not the
truth. However, I imagine the truth of the story didn’t really matter, as you
were using the story as an opportunity to take a cheap shot at an organization
with which you disagree. How Christian of you.
