I was in Cambridge, Mass., this weekend for my wife’s family Christmas
party. Yes, there are still people in Cambridge who celebrate Christmas.
That being said, the anti-Bush sentiments are as thick as the Christmas
shoppers on Mass. Ave.
I was browsing in the Harvard Coop, when what to my wondering eyes should
appear, but a stack of Legacys.
I can not report how they were selling, there in the heart of darkness. I
can report that they were wedged between “Howard Dean In This Own Words”
and “Making Dough: The 12 Secret Ingredients of Krispy Kreme’s Sweet
Success.” What conclusion should be drawn from such marketplace
positioning, I can not say.
