Bobby Jindal (R) is at 53 percent in today’s Louisiana governor’s election, with 28 percent of precincts reporting. None of his opponents has cracked 20 percent. A good sign so far, but it’s certainly not over yet.
If Jindal finishes above 50 percent, then it’s over and he’s the next governor. Otherwise, it could get very interesting. He would be the first movement conservative to govern the state.
