I have to confess, when we were talking about the prospect of running a webathon just a few days after the election, I was skeptical. Readers will be in a sour mood, I thought, and with Biden’s inflation taking its toll, people won’t be in a giving mood.
Boy, was I wrong. We’ve been overwhelmed by the tremendous response from our readers, who have already brought us past our initial goal of $40,000 earlier than anticipated.
