The former vice president of Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform, and director of the Ronald Reagan Legacy Project, was an illegal alien. This character, Michael Kamburowski, is the same guy who later was named chief operating officer of the California Republican Party, a position he resigned from in June because, among other reasons, he was a deportation absconder. I realize Grover is an open-borders guy and doesn’t like immigration laws, but I bet he makes sure his people scrupulously comply with the tax laws, and he doesn’t like them either.
