Cantor: Biden Communicates with the Hill, but Obama Won’t

President Obama should follow the lead of Joe Biden when it comes to interacting with Capitol Hill lawmakers, House majority leader Eric Cantor suggested on Fox News on Wednesday. The Virginia Republican said the president has been difficult to communicate with during his time in office.

“It’s not that way with all those in the White House,” Cantor said. “I’ve had a great relationship with the vice president — I’m able to bounce ideas off of him.”

“Unfortunately, somehow the communication does not always happen with the president,” he added.

Cantor said he suspected that the president may become less withdrawn in order to address such important issues as Obamacare and the upcoming budget deadlines.
