Cantor: Threats? This. Is. Congress!

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R., Va.) held a presser just now on the topic of threats to Congressmen in the wake of passage of Obamacare. Cantor called out DCCC point-man Chris Van Hollen (D., Md.) and DNC Chair Tim Kaine by name, for “dangerously fanning the flames by suggesting that these incidents be used as a political weapon.”

“It is reckless to use these incidents as a media vehicle for political gains,” Cantor said, saying that he has consistently chosen not to publicize the volume of threats he routinely receives by e-mail — many because he is Jewish — and revealing that a bullet was recently fired into his offices.
