Captain Kirk

A couple of weeks ago, I told my occasional editor at Traverse magazine that if he would post my 2007 article on Russell Kirk, I’d make sure that readers of NRO would know about it. So if you want to read a profile of Kirk and his importance, with an emphasis on his Michigan roots (Traverse is a northern Michigan lifestyle magazine), then click here early and often. The idea of the piece was to introduce Kirk to a readership that probably had not heard of him before. Think of it as right-of-center evangelization.
