Carson: I Don’t Want to Run for President, but I Might Have To

Dr. Ben Carson, a highly accomplished neurosurgeon and a conservative media favorite, sat down with National Review at CPAC this morning. When asked whether he’s thinking of running for president, as many CPAC attendees have encouraged him to do, he said he doesn’t “have a desire to” do it, but does want to help save his country, which might mean an electoral run.

Patrick Brennan was a senior communications official at the Department of Health and Human Services during the Trump administration and is former opinion editor of National Review Online.
