Carthaginian

Good grief! I am the only person in the English-speaking world who does not know that G.A. Henty wrote a story titled The Young Carthaginian. This hurst, as I have always counted myself lucky to have had a childhood well-stocked with Victorian children’s authors… But somehow I never got Henty. Have been hearing his name ever since–Orwell was a Henty fan–but never caught up. Now is my chance. I have bought The Young Carthaginian. Many thanks to all.
