Catching Up with Ovide Lamontagne

Ovide Lamontagne, a Manchester attorney and tea-party favorite, was defeated in New Hampshire’s GOP Senate primary earlier this month. He lost to Kelly Ayotte, the former state attorney general, by a narrow margin. Unlike defeated Senate primary candidates in Alaska and Delaware, Lamontagne is doing everything he can to help the GOP nominee win. Earlier this evening, Lamontagne hosted a high-dollar fundraiser for Ayotte in Washington.

National Review Online caught up with Lamontagne after the event:

Ayotte faces Rep. Paul Hodes (D., N.H.) in November.
