CBS Continues Love-Fest Over Castro, Calling Him a ‘Revolutionary Hero’

After Fidel Castro's death, new questions about Cuba's future

Yesterday, CBS News continued a love-fest over deceased Cuban dictator Fidel Castro by asking people what the “best thing” Castro did for Cubans was. Never mind the thousands of murdered citizens, CBS cares more about the “good” carried out by someone they hail a “revolutionary hero.”

In this clip, Charlie Rose reports on “a city in mourning” to remember “the man who founded the revolution.”

Rose ends his segment with the following statement:

“Whether you love Fidel Castro because of what he did in education and health care, or hate him because of civil rights and human rights, there is no doubt that he is considered here a revolutionary hero. Not only in Cuba, but in many place around the world, and also for his defiance of the United States.”
