The Corner

Cheney ’08

The biography is out in time, the political skill, resolve, and clear thinking have long been there.  This morning Lynne Cheney responded to President Carter’s recent criticism of the Vice President saying, “I lost respect for Jimmy Carter in 1991.”  (When he personally lobbied heads of state to oppose kicking Saddam out of Kuwait). Okay, that was late but she got there.  Mrs. Cheney also explained why she thinks her husband prompts such hysterical attacks, citing an expression from her beloved Wyoming — “Dogs don’t bark at parked cars.”
