It passed 65-43 but is not going to conference yet because Democrats objected to moving ahead and appointing confererrs. So the bill is stalled for now. One Republican staffer just described the stall tactic to me as ”lame” and that sounds exactly right — the House passed their bill in April, it’s a no-brainer, and the Senate passed it with a supermajority.
