Something you may have missed: Obama said “companies overseas pay no taxes compared to companies in the U.S.” He’s not saying they literally pay no taxes, he’s saying they pay less compared to the U.S. which could be because . . . wait . . . we have the highest corporate tax rate of any developed nation in the entire world. Who might be responsible for that? Maybe the incumbent? Romney’s response about making America an attractive place for innovators was spot on, and a strong contrast.
