China Says U.S. Plans to Deploy ‘Genetically Engineered Weapons’ against ‘European Aryans’ and Other Races

Chinese foreign-ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin made the ridiculous claim, which featured this curious choice of language about “Aryans,” in a press briefing this week. His team apparently saw fit to boost that messaging on Twitter:

The tweet says that this is “reportedly” the case, when that is clearly false.

This latest edition of Beijing’s continued Wolf Warrior–style diplomatic antics comes as the Biden administration signals that it’s willing to go to extreme lengths, even forgoing certain sanctions targeting Chinese state entities, to secure high-level dialogue with senior Chinese officials. Of course, the Chinese Communist Party’s precondition for any such meetings is that the U.S. back down on a number of core issues, chief among them Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong.
