The guy is not subtle. The 2016 themes of his speech couldn’t have been more obvious. Apparently the country is looking to New Jersey, where the national healing will begin. Christie is going to position himself as the outsider, the bipartisan uniter, the reformer, and the doer. All of these are naturals for a Republican winning reelection in a blue state and for a successful governor at a time of discontent with Washington — and potentially quite powerful. Let the race for New Hampshire begin.
