Christie: House GOP is ‘Disgusting’

Despite Dan’s and Betsy’s calls for calm, Governor Chris Christie launched a blistering attack against the House Republicans this afternoon for postponing a vote on the Sandy relief bill:

For the victims of Sandy in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, it’s been 66 days and the wait continues. There’s only one group to blame for the continued suffering of these innocent victims: the House majority and their speaker, John Boehner. This is not a Republican or Democratic issue. National disasters happen in red states and blue states. In states with Democratic governors and Republican governors. Last night, politics was placed before an oath to serve our citizens. For me, it was disappointing and disgusting to watch.
