In my story on Virginia that ran this week, I related how one source told me that GOP chairman John Whitbeck was forced out by the congressional delegation after Corey Stewart’s victory. Upon further reporting, I don’t have confidence in the underlying claim, and I’m withdrawing it and updating the piece accordingly.
