Climate Forecast

President Obama is in Europe for the global-warming summit. Here in D.C., we’re bracing for what the Washington Post says may be “the biggest Washington-area snowstorm in years.” In my neck of northern Virginia, the weather map indicates that we may get 14+ inches.

Talk about bad timing. I am referring, of course, to my children. When you’re a kid, the absolute worst time for a snowstorm to arrive is Friday night, after you’ve completed a week of school.
