DOJ Blocked FBI Attempts to Investigate Clinton Foundation

FBI director James Comey may have publicly twisted the facts of Hillary Clinton’s e-mail server to recommend no investigation, but buried in a CNN report last night is the revelation that the FBI sought to investigate her earlier this year and was blocked by Obama’s Justice Department. As Jim pointed out in the Morning Jolt, a law enforcement official informed CNN that “several FBI field offices” wanted to open a case examining the relationship between Clinton’s State Department and the Clinton Foundation, but they could not get past Attorney General Loretta Lynch. So, it may be that Lynch talked about golf with Bill Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac, and it may also be the case that Hillary’s 30,000 missing e-mails were just about yoga, and that no reasonable prosecutor would want to investigate. But all of that is starting to seem as likely as a first-time trader making a 10,000 percent return on cattle futures.
