Clinton vs. Obama, Pt. 3

Finally, there’s the business of Bill Clinton.  When I asked whether his speech Wednesday will really be limited to foreign policy, I was told that Bill Clinton can talk about any damn thing he wants to talk about.  You can put whatever speech you want in the teleprompter, they say, and he’ll give whatever speech he wants.  This didn’t sound quite as contentious as it looks written down; they expect Clinton to do what he has to do when it comes to supporting Obama, just without being limited to any single topic.
